Stepping out from my comfort zone.
Finally it's the day!!! (Team Initiative work)
As I have mention before in my blog that we are visiting the Sayka monastery it failed as they were having their own program so me and my team visited Sera Mey school [Thoesam]

Me and my team |
We reached there around like 10 am, we all decided to wear our traditional dress as it's Lhakar(White Wednesday, has been a traditional day for Tibetans to express devotion to their spiritual leader and pray for his long life.)
and there we talked with the principal and my first listener was Sera Mey principle I felt very nervous as I have gone there with the mindset that I am going to give awareness to the students not sir so I got to change the way of my language(formal) fortunately a good fortune girl like me he got impressed, I felt proud.😊
The headmaster took us at class [V'B] they have section for almost like every class as they are having lots of students.
When I enter the class...
I kind of felt nervous. Different thoughts were popping in my mind, my thoughts were like will they learn something? will they co-operate with us? And many more.
But as I step inside the class I cleared my mind and went inside there were 21 students as whole, as I looked at there faces I can sense the excitement in there faces.
today's awareness was on
>what is health?
>importance of health.
>hygiene and how to stay hygiene.
>scabies
>prevention of scabies
firstly it was my turn, before starting I gave my brif introduction than I stared my task while explaining I felt nice as they were all listening very careful and I love how they were focusing and some of them ask me to repeat it when they didn't understand.

Love how focused they were 🤧 |

I finished my topic so my friend started the next. I felt very happy as they all look very interested in our topic as being our first day I got more inspired to do more in future.
After all I explained them the disease called (scabies) while explaining them I also learned many things.😉

Showing them how the scabies looks like. |

I walked around them to show the mite photo(the disease causing bug.) |
After finishing all the session of giving awareness we started our question session. The good things was everyone was rising there hands to asked questions I never expected to see that coming. I felt very glad.
Their mind were fed up with curiosity they asked different kind of questions and glading we were able to answer them all.
Here are some photos of students during question session.

The thing was they have lots of questions so stopped the question session and we were left with times so they asked us to reintroduce as they asked we did.

Re-introducing I came to know that there were lots of students from Tawang. They also introduced themselves |
Conclusion:-
I would really like to thank all of them and the school principal and headmaster for giving us opportunity to spread awareness to the students. I learned lots of things and i personally would like to thank our school teacher for always supporting us and tooting for us, giving us guidance towards this initiative work.
Thank you all for giving time to read this blog. Hoped you enjoyed it.

DeleteCongratulations to you and your team on the success of your presentation. I am impressed at how much flexibility you showed in this situation. It sounds like while you were nervous, you didn't let that stop you from doing your bit. The whole class looks so interested and alive. You guys must have done a great job engaging them. Well done! Wish I was there to learn a bit more about scabies!
